Kangaroo Nik: It’s high time I embrace vulnerability in sharing the layers of my inner self, to brave others’ opinions about my views and insecurities, and stay true to my creative journey, however it unfolds. The night of this ideas conception, lost in some mid-night hour, knee deep in a tsunami of existential turmoil, I made the commitment to say fuck it… just go for it, go now. Bare it all. Here we have it: a personal journal for a public space. I kindly ask that you remain open minded. This is to me but an exercise in outwardly owning who I am and the lens through which I experience life. Fresh off my mind, into our shared cyber space. Available to anyone open to interpreting my views, high and low and all in between. To share my writing with anyone, even those closest to me, has long been a dread of mine. I’ve always felt misunderstood to some degree by others, stemming from a struggle to verbally express emotions. I live and travel rent-free in my offbeat headspace. I’m excited at the possibility of inspiring others. This is a safe, inclusive and respectful online space for all. Feel free to share with someone who may relate or need a friend. <3
