Seven: Scrambled Reality
A dream, a lake
You sink or swim
The moon renews in its rise
Saluting the setting sun
Casting spells in a balmy glow
Nudging in the night
The external world falls dim
A flower child of the sun
A daisy of desire
Taken in by the mystic moon
Alluring with such subdued, humbling light
Climbing and descending the night sky so steady
A mere moment of pause looking back from the peak
A psychedelic light show on a rippled horizon
Reflecting itself
A reflection of you
Sometimes in a puddle, other times an ocean
All this we share
Mind meeting space
Star here, there, dazzling everywhere
So close while burning worlds apart
Intention taking form with her obscure freedom
A familiar friend, a sounding silence
Hungover on hope
Treading the undertow of the unknown
Madness past midnight
A new mission foreseen
I see my silhouette sitting up there
Cradled by the crescent moon
Dreams working in the sea of space
Fishing for you, with room for two
